Christmas!

Week 75: Back to Lacey!

Hello everyone! This week was a crazy one. I've been transferred back to Lacey into a car area. The day I got into my car area it rained and it hasn't stopped raining yet! I feel very lucky. Here we also cover a Samoan group of members and help them stay active and find and teach less active ones. That's been a lot of fun. They feed us a ton of food. I don't really know what they are saying most of the time, but luckily one of my companions is fluent. I am also back into a quad, which keeps things fun and means we play more board games. It's been fun and I look forward to the next adventures!

Week 74: Transfer Time

Hello everyone! This week has been a good one! We had lots of good stuff that's happened. One of the people we are working with came with us to set up for the ward party and then we taught him a lesson and then came to the party! It was pretty cool. The Christmas party was a lot of fun too. We mainly just ate food, so nothing to complain about.

It is transfer time again, and I am getting transferred! I'm going to Lacey 2nd ward. It should be a lot of fun. I've been in the Lacey zone before and enjoyed it. It also means that after five straight transfers I will be moving off of bike and into the world of cars, thankfully, for the coldest part of the year.

Week 73: Digging Holes

Hello everybody! This week was a good one. We had a lot of lessons with some pretty cool people. As far as teaching goes, this is probably one of my most busy areas. We have lessons basically every day. It's nice. We also did some service this week digging post holes for a guy in the ward. That was fun but a lot of work. He was building a carport in his yard to prepare for potential snow this year. It's supposed to be colder than normal. Also, while we were out biking my companions crank arm fell off, so we had to get rescued by some members because it was an hour and a half walk to our next appointment. Anyways, that's all for this week.

Week 72: Thanksgiving

Hello everyone! This week, as I am sure you are all aware, was Thanksgiving! It was a lot of fun. We went and started by playing in the ward Turkey Bowl. After that we ate food. Then played board games all day. It was a lot of fun. The rest of the week was pretty normal, full of tracting and teaching. It was super cold the last couple days, especially compared to last year. Luckily riding the bike helps me stay a little bit warm. The year is coming to a close super quick, which is kind of blowing me mind.
