Sorry about the phone call. I bet it was not a fun call to get. Luckily, the pain hasn't been as bad and I've been pushing through it. They gave me hydrocodone and it's been working. I haven't passed it yet but the pain isn't too bad. I was out knocking the same day I was at the doctor.
There are so many dogs out here. It's insane! I feel like everyone has like 4.
That missionary Magic deck would be really awesome to have, haha;) Literally the people I teach on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday all play!! Monday and Friday are investigators and the Tuesday guy is a less active. He plays commander every week at the store! It's crazy. He only has one deck though, it's a green red agro one. It sounded pretty cool. If I remember right Ruric Thar was the name of it. I'm not sure. It's been a whole 6 days since I've seen him. I told one of the families we were eating dinner with that I had worked at a tabletop game store and the dad got really excited and showed me all his X-wing stuff (remember when we were at Gigabytes and they had all those star wars models and were playing games with them??) It was really cool. He had like a big millennium falcon and a bunch of tie fighters and stuff. He tried to explain it but I had no idea what he was saying. Oh well. Nerd culture is pretty big here. I have other people too, but those are the only ones we have set in stone repeating lessons with. For some reason, working where I worked has been a huge help in connecting with people.
Things are progressing well! We have 4 new investigators this week! Some of them seemed really promising! I'm super excited to teach more. I like teaching. It gives me a break from knocking on doors. Knocking is fun, sometimes it can be a bit tedious but you meet a lot of cool people!
Love
Nathan
