Nathan is still having pain off and on but pain med is doing a good job. He is following my instructions and drinking an equal amount and more of water to the amount he peed out to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated. Besides being sweet, he is obedient by following instructions. The pain now is just on his side and he said he feels it lower than yesterday which is an indication that it is headed towards the bladder. Drinking lemonade every morning and evening for about two months will help his body dissolve whatever residual is still in his kidneys. I am going to pick him up a package of lemonade mix and wrap it in a bow for a present:).
Even though he has this challenge, he doesn't complain or use it as an excuse why not to do mission work. What a strong testimony he has. What a perfect example of endurance. What a way to start a mission! President Leishman called and checked up on him too and he told him, "I'm doing fine President."
